REACTION PAPER
HARRY POTTER and the HALF-BLOOD PRINCE
Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince is a science- fiction fantasy based from a novel of J.K Rowling. It is the sixth sequel movie of Harry Potter and directed by David Yates.
Last August 05, 2009 at SM City Clark cinema 1, we had watched Harry Potter. As expected, the movie has its full cast of characters, Daniel Radcliffe as (Harry Potter) which is totally grown up with his more matured role. Emma Watson (Hermione Gran ger) very charming in the big screen. Rupert Grint(Ron Weasley)considered as my best character in the film- because he portrays his role very well, acts well during ing quidditch game. Ron Weasley was very amusing and funny. Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley)very quiet lady,in which harry definitely fall for and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) always very eager to put Harry out of school of Hogwarts. Furthermore, the the professors of Hogwarts are still very supportive with the students like Dumbledore (Michael Gambon), Prof.Mcgonagall (Maggie Smith), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid).Allan Rickman(Prof.Snape) the Half-blood prince and lastly Jim Broadbent (Prof.Slughorn) the new potion teacher of Hogwarts.
For me, the best scene would be in quidditch game wherein you can really feel the thrill, although it does not used many effects, still it makes the viewer excite. Like me, I feel that I want to stand on my sit. On the other hand, Harry Potter6 has many poor scenes, as I’ve observed those scenes include many discussions with Harry and Prof.Dumbledore.Harry Potter 6 has fewer fights compare to last five sequels which make it boring.
Effects used are state of the art yet it is oddly wispy, it does not actually highlight the main scenes. Dialogues are clearly delivered but uneasy to understand because of its British accent’s an outcome, the viewer will not get interested at all.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was rated GP although it has scary scenes and images, some violent languages and mild sensuality but can be watched by any ages. The MTRCB should think twice about it.
Harry Potter and the half-blood prince is a sequel that even his ardent fan can be quickly forgotten.
