Outlook of the Movie:
The Harry Potter films were known for their impressive special effects, great characters & engrossing storyline. The latest addition to the genre defining franchise was good, but fell down a few notches from the rest.
The overall feel of the film is somewhat lacking because of being incomplete. The story left rushed. The supposed climax of the movie didn’t give much that impact and coupled with bad lines, wasn’t as climatic as I thought. Emphasis should have been given to these points as they are parts that should rouse the audience. That effect sadly wasn’t achieved.
The Special effects where as usual, excellent. Everything is fluid and believable. One scene in particular seemed to push the bounds of the technology, the bridge scene. It felt realistic.
In summarization the movie was good but not brilliant. Mediacie would be the right term it tries to capture your attention but even with superb graphics and familiar characters, it fails to cast that “Harry Potter Magic”.
