CHARACTERS:
Harry Potter - The sixteen-year-old protagonist and hero of the story.
Albus Dumbledore - Headmaster of Hogwarts and a father figure to Harry Potter.
Lord Voldemort - Once a student at Hogwarts named Tom Riddle, now a force of extreme evil.
Hermione Granger - One of Harry Potter’s two best friends.
Ron Weasley - He plays the position of keeper for the Gryffindor Quidditch.
Severus Snape - A former Death Eater and longtime professor of Potions at Hogwarts.
Draco Malfoy - One of Harry’s classmates, the son of convicted Death Eater Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy.

Horace Slughorn - The newly recruited Professor of Potions at Hogwarts.
Ginny Weasley - Member of Dumbledore’s Army.
Rufus Scrimgeour - Cornelius Fudge’s replacement as the Minister of Magic.
Minerva McGonagall - The Head of House for Gryffindor and the instructor of Transfiguration.
Mr. and Mrs. Weasley - Ron’s parents, members of the Order of the Phoenix.
Katie Bell - is cursed by a necklace given to her in the bathroom of the Three Broomsticks.

BEST SCENES:
When Harry and Dumbledore joined forces to fight Voldemort.

POOR SCENE: When Dumbledore died because of fighting with Voldemort and because they didn’t won to kill the evils.


BEST CHARACTERS:
Dumbledore: Because of the Braveness that he did in the story and also because of the extraordinarily wise, trustful, and extremely powerful wizard.

EFFECTS:
For me it is more on Magical Effects and slightly scary.

STORY (PLOT):

Harry receives a used magical textbook that belonged to someone named “The Half-Blood Prince.” Spells and amendments are written in the book, and Harry uses the Prince notes to know more of magic. Dumbledore schedules regular meetings with Harry in which they use Dumbledore’s thought to look at memories of those who have a contact with Voldemort. Dumbledore believes that if Harry can learn enough about Voldemort’s history, it will help him when they finally fight face to face, as the prophecy concerning Harry foretells. Harry learns about Voldemort’s family, including his grandfather Marvolo, his uncle Morfin, and his mother Merope, who cast a love spell on a Muggle and was abandoned by him. Voldemort was left at an orphanage and grew to be an unpleasant and aggressive boy. Harry also learns that Voldemort has divided his soul into seven Horcruxes. Two of these, Tom Riddle’s diary and Marvolo’s ring, have already been destroyed. One resides in Voldemort, one resides in a snake, one is Merope’s locket, and the other two are suspected to be hidden in objects belonging to Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Gryffindor. Harry tried to find Draco but when he didn’t see him Harry realizes that if he didn’t see Draco on the map he could see him on the book of requirements on the seventh floor of the Hogwart and Harry tries his best to get in to Draco. Harry and Dumbledore rush toward the tower. When they arrive, Dumbledore uses his magic to freeze Harry in place, while Harry remains freeze. Draco Malfoy went into the room, threatening Dumbledore’s life. Dumbledore stalls Draco, telling him that he is not a killer and that the Order of the Phoenix could protect him and his mother from Voldemort. While they are fighting Harry cannot move or speak, but he hears the fighting Death Eaters below. Draco raises his wand and kills Dumbledore. When Dumbledore dies, his spell on Harry is broken, and Harry rushes after the spell is gone determined to avenge the death of his friend and headmaster. The evil escapes, and Harry is devastated. He looks at the locket he and Dumbledore retrieved and realizes that it is not a Horcrux. Harry tells his friends he will not be returning to Hogwarts next year and will instead search out and kill Voldemort by destroying all of the Horcruxes. Ron and Hermione vow to join him.

AGE FIT: For me the age fitted to the film is 12 years old and up, for them to really understand the whole story of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince because sometimes the words are hard to understand.
